BLINDS FOR ALL APPLICATIONS
For classrooms we supply blackout blinds and curtains which will block out all the light and create a desirable learning environment. Some rooms such as science laboratories and lecture theatres may require a much greater degree of blackout than ordinary blinds can provide, as light will stream around the edges and gaps between the louvres or slats. For these areas total light exclusion blinds are the ideal solution.
Blackout blinds don’t have to be black as we offer a range of colours of fabrics. For school labs we manufacture, supply and install a variety of blinds which can be manually operated by continuous ball chain, or gear operated for larger blinds (very useful as the control handle can be detached and locked away denying use to unauthorized persons). However, as very often there are multiple blinds in one room it makes sense to upgrade to motor operation where many blinds can be electronically linked and controlled from one switch. Our blinds are also available in audio visual and sunscreen properties.
All our blinds comply with BS5867 Pt2B which is the British standard for flame retardant fabrics we use in schools and universities.
